Few weeks after massive donations at various hospitals in the Southern sector, Adonko Bitters Company has heightened the fight against Covid-19 in the entire northern Ghana as they donated 200,000 cedis worth of Adonko original hand sanitizers, nose masks and tissue towels to all major health facilities in northern Ghana.
The donation started at the Tamale Teaching hospital in the northern region on Monday, 20th July 22, 2020 through to the Baptist Hospital in Nalerigu in the Northeast region, the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga and the Upper West regional hospital in Wa today.
At the Baptist Medical center in Nalerigu, the Administrator for the hospital Mr. Addae Edward said, “We are speechless with this benevolence by Adonko bitters company, it is not usual that a business organization will spend their resources on hospitals in this area for free, these PPEs will help both staff and patients at the hospital to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.
He however, expressed his delightedness and gratitude to Adonko Bitters Company for the endowment.
At the Upper East Region where the company donated five hundred (500) pieces of hand sanitizers, one thousand (1,000) pieces of nose masks and hundred and twenty (120) rolls of tissue towels to the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga gave the facility which is the sole treatment center for Covid-19 in the Upper East region a gigantic relief in the fight against Covid-19.
Notwithstanding, after a massive donation at the Upper West Regional Hospital in Wa, the Nurse Manager Madam Linda Mettle, who could not hold her gladness by dancing to the Adonko songs, lauded Adonko Bitters Company and showed gratification for the items provided to her facility..
The Director of Special Project at the company Mr. Asamoah Gyamfi said the gesture is his outfit’s contribution towards the fight against the pandemic and the Adonko bitters company will continue to work for the welfare of every Ghanaian regardless of their tribe, religion or social status.
Meanwhile, the Business Development Manager at the Adonko Bitters Company Mr. Owusu Agyemang implored every Ghanaian to observe all the Covid-19 protocols and make the Adonko original Hand Sanitizer their foremost choice since it is made with the finest and most authentic elements without side-effects.
