Adonko bitters company saves lives at Wa school for the deaf.


Since Covid-19 hits the shores of Ghana in March this year, the Adonko bitters company has been embarking on a charity project to save lives and fight the spread of the deadly Corona Virus, hence over 200, 000 Ghana cedis worth of Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) has been set up to execute the project dubbed the “The Adonko Covid Project” in Northern Ghana.

It was full of excitement and wild jubilation at the Wa school for the deaf when the Adonko company donated items worth close to ten thousand Ghana cedis (Gh10,000) to the school.

The items include Adonko original hand sanitizers, over one thousand nose masks, tissue towels, toiletries, rice, bags of sachet water, assorted drinks and so on.

The Principal of the school Mr. Sylvester Bayor mentioned that, the donation came at the most appropriate time when the school is in dire need of PPEs to to complement the government’s support for the school in the Covid-19 era.

Mr. Francis Dagadu who is the Northern Divisional Sales Manager for
Adonko Bitters company Ltd thanked the school authorities for the warm reception and promised organization’s commitment to support the less privileged in Ghana.

Mr. Dagadu added that he believes the donation will bring a great impact to the Adonko brand and the people of the northern sector at Large.

He further explained that, “Adonko bitters company is a co-operate institution and aside the businesses and we serving our customers, we also go beyond to make sure we donate, give out to society for their endorsement of the Adonko brand.

The Adonko Zonal boss disclosed that, what has happened in regards to the donations across the five regions of the north is a relief to the people of the north and also a morale booster to expose the Adonko brand and also strengthen the business relationship with the customers in the northern sector.

“We want to reassure them this will not be the first or the last we will go the extra mile to give our customers the best of service and also bring relief to them amidst Covid-19.” Mr. Francis assured.

Adonko bitters company limited is a subsidiary company of the Angel group of companies in Ghana and currently popular for their hand sanitizers being used by all tertiary institutions in the country to fight the spread of Covid-19.
