Covid-19: Adonko company donates big to Western Regional Hospital.


The Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Takoradi is the latest health facility in Ghana to benefit from the Adonko company’s nationwide donation of PPEs to all major hospitals in the country.
The hospital which serves as the main Covid-19 isolation and treatment center for the people of the Western region received a whooping 2,000 pieces of nose masks, 960 bottles original Adonko hand sanitizer and 120 cans of Adonko next level energy drink.

Speaking at a brief donation ceremony in Takoradi, the Head of Pharmacy at the hospital Mr. Kwadwo O. Apenteng who received the items thanked the Adonko company especially Dr. Kwaku Oteng for the gesture and promised to put the items to good use.
He explained that the Western region is currently the third highest in the country with 2,804 case counts per the regional distribution and therefore believe that the donation by the Adonko Company will boost them up to work extra in order to bring Covid-19 under control in the region.

The Director for Special Projects at the Adonko group Mr. Asamoah Gyamfi mentioned that the Adonko Company have being embarking on a nationwide donation exercise to all major hospitals in the country by way of supporting the government in the fight against the spread of the Corona Virus.
He said “the fight against Covid-19 is something that is at the heart of Dr. Kwaku Oteng and it is by this that he has spent over 10 billion old cedis (2 billion for the northern zone and 8 billion for the southern zone.”
Mr. Gyamfi assured that there is no business if there are no human lives, therefore his outfit as assured by Dr. KwaKu Oteng the founder of the Angel group, will continue to support Ghanaians and the hospitals in the country until the fight against Covid-19 is won.

Ghana currently has 41,212 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 38,727 recoveries and 215 deaths.
