The Member of Parliament for the Zabzugu constituency in the Northern Region Hon. Alhassan Umar has revealed that, President Akufo-Addo and his government are holding up to funds secured by the Mahama led administration from the world Bank for the constitution of the Yendi-Zabzugu Road.

In a Facebook reply to a Constituent by name Jah Praizze on Facebook, Hon. Alhassan Umar explained that the Yendi-Zabzugu Road is still in a deplorable state because the NPP government has not prioritized the development of the people of Zabzugu.

Hon. Umar however urged his constituents to vote for John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections to ensure that all developmental problems in Zabzugu are dealt with.

Though an international road, the Yendi-Zabzugu Road is one of the worse roads in Northern Ghana with so many accident cases recorded on daily basis.
